Viva la Via Pontresina

On 1 August, Switzerland celebrates its national day. In the mountain village of Pontresina, in the Engadin, that means a full day of activities, music and live bands on the Plazza Rondo, these days under the name Viva la Via. In 2023 and in 2025 we had the honour of closing the day.

The finale began with the traditional lantern parade through the village, accompanied by two of our stilt walkers in glowing costumes. Then came half an hour of Spectra on stage: our light show with dancers, aerial acrobatics and light objects, blended with the stage technology on site into one whole.

The theme was togetherness: bringing people together and honouring Swiss pride in a beautiful way. Festive and elegant, just right for a Swiss audience. Both editions we were there with a team of seven performers.
