Halloween De Panne

For the Halloween event of the municipality of De Panne on the Belgian coast, we performed our solo fire show Crescendo for around 1,500 visitors. The event consisted of a walk with stalls and a cosy Halloween atmosphere, and the organisation was looking for a fitting finale: a fiery show that picked up the theme without necessarily being horror or a freak show.

The biggest challenge at this location was the coastal weather and a stage with the audience standing all around it, in 360 degrees. We always build our fire shows so they can go ahead in any weather, including stronger wind and light rain. As a result the show ran very smoothly.

We adapted our choreography and the setup of the torches to the 360-degree stage so everyone could see the show well. Sound, safety perimeters and safety standards were worked out tactically in consultation with the organisation. A wonderful event, well worth repeating, with a satisfied organising team.
