Nerdland voor kleine Nerds

For the event Nerdland voor kleine Nerds, known from the popular Flemish podcast Nerdland, we created a solo bespoke light show. We performed this show in the main hall of the Lotto Arena, which was sold out twice.

We brought a short and strong light show with visual poi, programmed especially for this event, with beautiful graphics and recognisable science elements. It is a very accessible show, made for a young audience and families. Together with the organisation we created a show moment between two topics: a lovely surprise for the audience, but also scientifically interesting.

After the show, an explanation took place on stage about how we project light, logos, and text into the air. To increase visibility, we helped plan a setup with an on-site video camera for the live capture. A particularly wonderful collaboration, and very nice to stand on stage with icons Lieven Scheirre and Hetty Helsmoortel and engage in a dialogue about the scientific side of our shows.
