Fire show at your corporate event: the complete guide

Planning a corporate event? Discover how a fire show or light show by Lunar Shows makes your event unforgettable, from choice to logistics.

Fire show at a corporate event with audience

A corporate event is more than drinks with colleagues. It is the chance to make an impression on clients, partners and staff, and to show your brand in a memorable way. Whether it is a New Year's reception, an anniversary, a product launch or a staff party, the difference between a successful evening and an unforgettable event often comes down to that one moment everyone keeps sharing.

At Lunar Shows, we deliver that moment. A fire show or light show at your corporate event creates a wow effect that colleagues are still forwarding to you on LinkedIn months later. In this guide, we explain what to expect, which show suits which type of event, and what you need to arrange to keep everything running smoothly.

Why a fire show at a corporate event?

A fire show delivers something catering, DJs and speeches cannot: a shared, physical experience that brings people together. We see the same reaction every time at our clients' events. Guests reach for their phones, applaud spontaneously, and talk about it all week back at the office.

That has direct value for your organisation. We see four benefits come up at every corporate event we perform at:

  • Impact and memory. A professional fire show stays in the collective memory of your team and your guests for years. That is exactly the kind of brand experience marketing budgets are made for.
  • Versatility. A show works for a New Year's party, an anniversary, a product launch or a regular team night. We adapt the content, length and atmosphere to the goal of the event.
  • Team building. A shared wow experience connects colleagues in a way forced activities rarely achieve. People remember how they felt during the moment, not what was on the slides.
  • Social content. Your guests will film and share willingly, with your venue and logo on screen. For our larger shows, we offer the option to integrate your company logo into the act, so your brand literally features in the production.

We are happy to represent your brand at the event, and treat the show as a gift to your guests.

Which show suits your corporate event?

We have a broad range, precisely because no two corporate events are the same. When you place a request with us, we first look at the size of your event, the venue and the time at which the show takes place. Based on that, we advise on the type of show that fits.

A rough guide to start with:

  • Outdoors or large hall, big audience. Our large group fire show really comes into its own here: spectacular, with strong light and sound support, moving heads and a dedicated lighting technician. View Eclipse for the group version.
  • Corporate events up to 1000 people, more compact spaces. Our solo fire show Crescendo is easy to deploy, needs less space and works perfectly for the vast majority of corporate events.
  • Indoors or limited space, low ceilings. Choose a light show like Photon or a duo version. No open flames, but the full cinematic impact.
  • Dinner or gala with an intimate atmosphere. A solo show with strong support from lighting, lamps, lasers and a few effects is the strongest value option here.
  • Launch or unveiling. We like to combine a fire or light show with installations such as projection mapping or fire decorations for a complete production.

For the group fire show, we also offer an extension with pyrotechnics. Both the artists and the pyrotechnic machines work with effects that make the production even more powerful, optionally closed off with a final firework. The standard length is around 15 minutes, and we can shorten or extend it in consultation with you.

Practical: what do you need to arrange?

Booking a fire show takes a little more preparation than hiring a DJ, but we take care of you at every step. Here is what you want to know in advance.

Space and dimensions

Each show has its own required dimensions, with safety margins that must always be respected. Our large fire show needs more space and a larger audience reach than a solo show. We come to assess the venue well in advance, and walk through everything again on the day itself.

Indoors or outdoors

Fire shows are best performed outdoors or in a tall hall with good ventilation. Light shows and installations work anywhere, including spaces with low ceilings. We will advise you on which configuration works best at your venue.

Timeline

Book at least 2 to 3 months in advance for popular periods such as December and June. On the day itself, we are on site 4 to 5 hours before the show to set up quietly, well before your guests arrive.

Permits and venue approval

Every event venue must be informed of the fire show and grant permission for it. Sometimes approval from the local fire brigade or council is also required. We provide all the necessary information, such as the liquids used and safety sheets, and are happy to liaise directly with your technicians, venue staff and the fire brigade.

Setting the scene at arrival

On request, we create a beautiful atmosphere at the arrival area with up-lighting, candles and torches, so guests immediately see where the show takes place and where they can stand.

Our experience with corporate events

We have been working at corporate events for years and know how important it is to have everything run flawlessly. Our technicians and artists are always carefully dressed in black, communicate discreetly on site and act as an extension of your team.

We work with a clear step-by-step plan from first contact: request, venue analysis, show advice, quote for approval, contract with clear responsibilities, and a detailed run sheet for the day itself. At each step, we announce what is coming next, so you never have to guess where we stand in the process.

We communicate transparently and openly. Any announcements or sign-offs around the show are agreed with you in advance, so the flow of the evening stays tight. Afterwards, we step back and pack down at an agreed time, without disrupting the rest of the event. We leave our venues exactly as we found them.

What does a fire show for a corporate event cost?

The price of a fire show for a corporate event depends on the type of show, the duration, the number of artists, the venue and any extensions such as pyrotechnics or projection mapping. A solo show with basic support is a strong value option for medium-sized corporate events. A large group show with full technical production is the choice for events where you really want to make an impression.

We work with transparent quotes and name everything up front, so there are no surprises. Want a guide price for your specific setting? Request a no-obligation quote and we will think along with you.
